Hi, I'm Gordon Christmas, the person behind codeXmas LLC.

I've been in Portland a while now. The short version: I moved here from Victoria BC in 2013 for a tech job and never left.

Where I've worked

Over the years I've worked on just about everything, from big enterprise systems to online stores to the local shop that just needs a site that works. That range is kind of the point. I've seen what overbuilt looks like, so I keep things simple, fix the actual problem, and build only what you need. No jargon, no agency runaround, just good work from someone who's easy to get ahold of.

Offer / Process

What I do is a bit of everything. I solve whatever the problem happens to be:

• A new website.
• A faster online store.
• Something behind the scenes untangled so it finally works the way it should.

Because I've worked across big and small, I tend to reach for the right tool instead of the trendy one.

How I work

My approach is pretty simple. I start with the problem, not the tech. I keep things right-sized, so you're not paying for stuff you'll never use. And I try to leave every project in better shape than I found it.
